Union Chief: Senators Are ‘Terrorists’ For Not Voting With Big Labor

This is the sort of gutter rhetoric that union thugs specialize in but regardless Stern should be ashamed of himself for bringing the political debate down into that gutter. Scum. Andy Stern is simply scum for using such idiotic and demagogic rhetoric.
Stern said this line of crap to Bloomberg News (as reported by CNSNews.com)
“There are a lot of terrorists in the Senate who think we are supposed to negotiate with them when they have their particular needs that they want met,” Stern told Bloomberg News. His comments, which appeared in BusinessWeek magazine, apparently were prompted by the senators' reluctance to support the union-sponsored bill.
All this over a bill in Congress? Really?
And let's remind everyone what this bill Stern is griping about does. The Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA) or the Card Check bill summarily eliminates the ability of potential union employees to vote their conscience in a secret ballot. That's right Stern wants to take away a centuries old democratic right from his own members. Not only that but the EFCA wants to impose government arbitration on contract talks that go on longer than the government feels they should. After this all too short negotiation period, this bill give the federal government the power to come in and impose its own terms on both the employer and the union. That pretty much takes power from the worker and the employer both!
CNSNews also has an excellent point about this outrageous comment: where's the Media coverage? Imagine if a right leaning politician or activist said that anyone that disagrees with them was a "terrorist." How do you think the news would have treated that one?

The Corrupt Indict Corruption?

WASHINGTON, Jan 19 (Reuters) - U.S. authorities accused 22 people, including an executive for Smith & Wesson, with violating federal bribery laws involving the sale of various arms, according to indictments unsealed on Tuesday.
The indictments charged the individuals, including Smith & Wesson vice president for sales Amaro Goncalves, with violating the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and conspiracy to commit money laundering involving the sale of items including guns and body armor, among other things.
The indictments, filed in December, were unsealed by a U.S. judge on Tuesday.
The individuals were arrested on Monday, according to court documents.

Dear Senator Murray,
I was so pleased to hear you are planning on resigning before the vote in November. That will save me a lot of time and money I was planning on spending to get you voted out. So glad you and Brian Baird got the message this past 6 months or so. You do not represent the people of WA. You have sold us out to line your pockets & suck up to your party, and the people of WA are done with all of you. I sincerely wish you would refrain from voting on the Health Care bill and follow the pattern set by your idol Obama. Just Vote Present.......
You are not just destroying the lives of the people of WA state but lives all over this great country. I am so glad you will not stand up in front of the American people and lie again by taking an oath you have not even tried to pretend to uphold.

At a minimum, the vulnerability assessment shall include a review of--
‘(1) pipes and constructed conveyances;
‘(2) physical barriers;
‘(3) water collection, pretreatment, treatment, storage, and distribution facilities;
‘(4) electronic, computer, and other automated systems that are used by the covered water system; THIS DOES NOT SPECIFY IF IT INCLUDES CUSTOMER INFO OR NOT
‘(5) the use, storage, or handling of various chemicals, including substances of concern; ALL PUBLIC WATER SYSTEMS ADD CHOLORINE THAT TO ME IS A CHEMICAL OF CONCERN
‘(6) the operation and maintenance of the covered water system; and THIS IN EFFECT GIVES GOVT CONTROL OF OUR WATER SYSTEMS
‘(7) the covered water system’s resiliency and ability to ensure continuity of operations in the event of a disruption caused by an intentional act.

Check out the video previous posting of this gathering. We the people of WA state are showing this is NOT an all Blue state. This is an AMERICAN STATE. We got there early to share thoughts & ideas with our fellow citizens. Many HARD working Washingtonians were not as lucky or able to take an hour off work at the end of the day and the Fire Marshall made 1000 people or more stay outside the hall. They also turned away people from entering the grounds because they had not expected so many people to show up. They NEED to stop doubting us & underestimating our determination. Thousands showed up to tell Govt. that they WORK FOR US NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. Stop the out of control spending, NO ON CRAP & TAX, NO ON HEALTHCARE. Almost everyone I spoke to had the same report, their Rep in Govt does not give a damn about us. Well, that is going to come back and kick them in the ass in 2010. VOTE THEM ALL OUT!!
My favorite sigh at this event, "Shove health care down our throats & we will shove your job up your arse in 2010-2012." Amen to that.
